IQ is a driver for income. Much better is EQ or emotional quotient. The way to make more money than other engineers is to get a poker read on what others are feeling, and adjust the negotiation.

Agree but it is also the drive the individual has and his/her ability to maneuver through chitt, tough chitt at times.
