See if your pea brain can grasp that she left on her own terms not fired. Maybe find someone and have them explain the difference between quitting/retiring and getting fired. Ask this person that’s explaining it to you what the difference is. I guess accountability doesn’t mean anything to your kind.
A win would have been the whole department going away. A [bleep] second place would have been the committee firing her. This is nothing.
