There was no Ted Williams connection to the J.C. Higgins M50. However IIRC, the Sears M53 was a Ted Williams signature and was a push feed M70 Winchester with Sears name. I had one but traded it off fairly quickly. Frankly, the one I had was an insult to Winchester.
