About 1990 I worked at NTS which borders Area 51, and some knuckleheads drove onto NTS lands. The response team had several dunebuggy type vehicles with 50 cal's mounted driving around looking for them. They mustn't have had the ability to use satellites to locate them as it took a day before they corralled them. I suspect Area 51, if still actively secured ( NTS isn't anymore) these idiots won't make it far past the perimeter fences.
One of the Radiology Tech's was telling us he did the initial hand wanding with a geiger counter of these dopes they caught, and he pressed the "check" button which pegs the meter and makes a screaming tone. The idiot asked what was that, and his reply was, well you idiots wandered around on our contaminated area's that are posted, and got contaminated. He said the guy got flushed and big eyed, and the Tech didn't tell him the truth, LOFL.
Can't wait to see the footage of them being arrested, but they may not do what they are paid for, if news media is there.
