Nascar has forgotten it's roots. Used to watch or listen to most of the races, and was a huge Bill Elliott fan.
Could care less about them now.
So has country music.
Wouldn't spit on the majority of them if they were on fire now.
I listen to Willie's Roadhouse, although I turn Willie off when he comes on. I don't like today's country, and don't listen. Couldn't tell you who's hot and who's not. I prefer the 1940-80 period.
Same way with rock, as far as I'm concerned the good music ended in 1970.
