Guy I knew in upstate New York with a similar situation would just go and take dumps on his neighbor's property line starting a couple weeks before deer season.
AFAIK they didn't smell like Irish Spring...
i use to take a piss or dump right by my blind, never bothered the deer. would piss in a scrape then watch the buck come by smell it and piss on it.
