My first and best memories of PA deer season involves the old 4 cyl Jeeps. Started hunting in 1964 first day of deer season we would be on stand in the mountains hours before season started. For the first few hours of the first day the mountain across the valley would have dozens of folks driving their old Jeep's to their hunting area, I can still hear the winding of the 4 bangers as they may their way to the top of the mountain.
