Yes, I have just about quit shopping in Tennessee because of that. Now, there is no doubt that a sales tax is the most fair tax there is, because even the welfare crowd has to pay it. But, by the time you buy the gas driving the extra distance, then pay a 10% tax, you're better off staying home and paying a little more for the merchandise.
