That no state income tax isn't such a great deal when the state sales tax rate is double the surrounding states.
We haul everything we can think of down from VA when we come down where the rate is nearly 1/2
The savings difference was not paying tn sales tax rate before this even with everything else included.
Tn state sales tax is around 9.5 ish
We dont have state income tax .
They bring that up every so often also.
Just a matter of when on that one too.....
Never enough tax revenue for em....
All it does is screw the working and the retired.
It dont phase phuggs who dont work or pay taxes......
