I probably fall in closer to you, I don’t ever expect to take a shot over 600 yards but love to shoot as far as I can. The 300 RUM is a monster but way more capability that I’ll ever need. Didn’t matter, I wanted it so I got it. The PRC is another good 30 though, grab one or piece one together and have a blast. I have a 70 Classic and an 8 twist Krieger in my basement I’ve been thinking about building myself but with the 300 RUM and 220 Scenar combo nothing I’ll build will whoop it, for my uses which is mainly elk and some deer.
