I don't think any of them are too pretty, as long as they are deadly. I have a sweet old Winchester model 12 with birdseye maple stock fitted to me. Also a single shot 10 gauge someone stuck a piece of 3/4" all thread in the butt stock bolt hole. Then the one I'm taking this year a BPS bought from a friend on the 'Fire. At 10 gauge and with screw in chokes I think it to be deadly enough. I found some moderate loads of #6. I think that was the best in my M-12 so I will go for that on 10 ga. turkeys.
