It sure looked like they would. Overcoming a 24 point deficit is a big deal. Maybe you'll whip some stat out on me but as somebody who has watched them since the AFL days, I don't remember them ever overcoming one like this. Patriots...Cowboys...they're known for big comebacks. Chiefs, not so much. Maybe in the short Joe Montana era.
This isn't your a typical chief team they can put up points as proven today. Also texans are known for [bleep] the bed, like they did today. Their was a game in buffalo in 1993 between the buffalo bills and Houston oilers.. AFC championship game look it up..
