We have had our Tundra for a little over 7 years and 225,000 miles, and it has made multiple trips to the Austin/San Antonio area of Texas each year, as well as a couple of trips to northwestern Colorado each year. Both destinations are 750+ miles one-way.

Trips to Texas are almost all interstate highway, and 80 mph is the normal cruising speed. The Colorado trips include maybe a couple hundred miles of interstate, but most of our route consists of a mix of state and federal highways with posted speed limits ranging from 55 to 70 mph. I rarely drive less than 5 mph over the posted speed limit, and my wife regularly exceeds that, especially on remote stretches where the posted speed limit is 55.

Long term highway mileage has averaged right around 17.5 mpg.
