I was researching the new guns from SKB, and found out they are being manufactured in Turkey, possibly the same place the Kimbers were made. May be worth a look.
The Japanese-made SKB's are excellent... I've shot SKB's for decades - still have at least three (haven't used 'em for years now - shoulder issue.. ). Just me - but I would NOT want one from Turkey...
