This is really no difference from anything else. Azzholes are always gonna be azzholes, naysayers are always gonna be naysayers, doubters are always gonna be doubters, skeptics are always gonna be skeptics, smartazzes are always gonna be smartazzes, featmongers and always gonna be fearmongers, "experts" are always gonna be "experts", doomsdayers are always gonna be doomsdayers, and so on and so forth.
Here is what I believe......it is something that we need to take serious, but not something that's going to wipe out mankind. Some people are going to be more at risk than others, and should be wise and take precautions. Democrats like to use things like this to make people more reliable on them and government, while Republicans look at it as an opportunity to make some money and to try not to panic the populace. I also believe that things like this should serve as a wakeup call for everyone to learn to be self-reliant, and be prepared for emergencies.
