Doesn't seem so bad, but let's see:
- 1% of 20,000,000 = 200,000 dead Americans
- 1/2 of 1% (or 0.005) of 20,000,000 = 100,000 dead Americans
- 1/4 of 1% (or 0.0025 ) of 20,000,000 = 50,000 dead Americans
- 1/10 pf 1% (or 0.001) of 20,000,000 = 20,000 dead Americans
Seems like big numbers to me, especially if anyone I know is in them.
Yep. And many of the survivors will have permanently damaged lung tissue for the remainder of their lives.
