No one ever died of AID's either, for the same reasons you state.
No one ever died of AIDs, unless they were a gay crusader, and wanted it noted that way.
It was always listed as pneumonia, or organ failure, which was technically true.
So many that it resulted in normal people that actually died from pneumonia being thought gay, after their death.
