Our feed stores have been selling out as fast as they can dump the little buggers into cages on the floor.
Stopped in ours for a bale of straw and 50lb bag of feed the other day. Said hi to the chicks on the way to the counter. Dude says "They're all sold"
Have been thinking I might let one of my hens sit on a half dozen eggs, a couple from each hen maybe, just to see what we get. Ameriucana rooster, mixed with 2 hens of the same, 2 Reds, and 2 Cuckoo Marans. Might get a couple of interesting chicks out of the deal.
