I thought we settled this question in 1865.
The Constitution was NOT altered by the defeat of the South in 1865!!
If a state which voluntarily joined the union isn't allowed to leave the union,...it's pretty plain that there's no such thing as state's rights.
Rep. Liz Chaney (R-Wyoming) referred to the 10th Amendment in the Constitution: "'The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.' United States Constitution, Amendment X."
She said,this in rebuke to Trump.
