The only person here who's talking about depriving a "whole class of people of their liberty" is you. Antifa isn't a whole class of people genius. They are a criminal enterprise. Break the code.
Granted "class" is a term of art. Call it a group of people who can be distinguished by one or more characteristics. In this case by their (repugnent) political beliefs. So far as political beliefs go, we protect Communists (Slokie) so long as they do not commit criminal offenses. When they do we prosecute the particular offender.
