Once the Left figures out that the Antifa chatter has a life of it's own and they can't defend them, they're going to carry out the share-the-blame strategy. To marginalize their association with groups like Antifa, they start saying stuff like "oh everyone knows there's plenty of blame to go around on BOTH sides. " Or they'll say "look we don't excuse unlawful behavior by fringe groups like Antifa, or white supremacists on the far right..."
That's what all this is about.
Trump and Barr know things about the chatter that's been organizing these events. And who the heads of the snakes are.
