This is on the short list for me too. Planning to take a 45 Blackhawk into the woods this year and kill something with it. After having the Cylinder throats opened up to the proper diameter, I can hit half-liter water bottles at 100 yds with the thing using my cast bullets, a 265gr RNFP cast soft and shooting about 950fps. Have a 300gr WFN mould as well, but haven't cast any yet. I want to kill something big with it, either an elk or a bear. Saw three bears last year while hunting turkeys and elk that were closer than 100 yards, but had no bear tag. That has been rectified this year.
