Being an amphibious assault ship, it probably would carry whatever rotary wing the Marine Corps uses, plus landing craft. Just heard on Fox that it's an amphibious assult RIFLE ship! No kidding! LOL.... I herd that too. Probably its no longer possible for a news person to say "assault" without adding "rifle" to the equation.  The latest I heard was that the fire resulted from a welding accident/incident below deck while the ship was being refitted in port. No mention if the welder was a muzzie or not...  Yah that chick had drunk the MSM CoolAid! Great job Fox News.
