Some plan ahead, some don't. Some hoard for various reasons.
But the ones that don't plan ahead seem to cry the most.

Sometimes [bleep] like to sit back and gloat over what they have that someone else doesn't and sling insults at them.

I'm fine regardless, I just despise usery and folks taking advantage of their fellow man.
