When I was 17 (1980) I had the chance to buy a GTX with the 426 HEMI in it. An original factory car with matching numbers and not one that had been pieced together. My father refused to cosign for it because he knew what power a HEMI had since he had been a professional drag racer in the early 70s and I couldn't buy it on my own signature since I was under 18. Asking price was $1500. Still think about that car.
