I did the same stupid thing but in 1978, think I sold it to a guy at work for $900.00. I bought it new for $2900.00 off the dealers lot. Somebody should kick my ass for all the neat cars I ruined. I had a really nice 1932 three wind coupe with a 327. Thought I was really smart and ran it without an air cleaner. More HP! It back fired thought the huge Holley card and caught fire. The electric fuel pump just kept on pumping and she when clear to the ground.
