Very, very, nice wide 8 point last night broadside @ 20 yards. Definitely a shooter by most any standards - would've been my 3rd, maybe 2nd biggest buck.
The problem was trailing 50 yards behind him was a buck that took my breath away. You know how it ends; I never got a shot at the bigger buck. I'll probably regret that all year. Heck, for many years.
