The Gold Standard was S&W Model 12. It was carried by American Military Intelligence and US Air Marshals. Military Intelligence people only use the best. If you can't find old alloy framed K-frame S&W Colt also made similar six-shot undercover revolvers. When looking at used gun make sure there is no cracks in the frame where it meets the barrel.
