Yes. If CRF isn't a requisite, you aren't going to beat the bang for buck on this one. At $499, it's essentially between 50 and 65% off, depending on when/where you see the original prices. Very well put together rifle.
That said, if you are going the CRF route, I disagree that the only nice ones are old. The new M70 FWTs have outstanding fit and finish and all three of mine have been very smooth and very accurate.
ADDED: the rail that comes with the m12 sold by StdMfg costs a pretty penny as well. So when you factor that in the deal is even better.
