Probably the wrong place to ask, but how do you like the 327 fed? Are the reports about it being louder than hell just internet whining? Seems like it would be handy especially with ability to drop down to other 32s.
The 327 Fed is a great little cartridge. Last weekend I clocked American Eagle 85g loads at 1581fpe from my Ruger SP101. Would love to have a levergun chambered for it.
We keep the SP101 hidden in the house for defensive purposes, away from the 2-6 year-old grandkids, 32H&R cases loaded with 100g XTP over a meager 4.6g Titegroup, 1280fps.
Internet whining for the most part, but when you run 1581fps it is going to be louder than 1000fps.
