I put many a mile on those backpacking the Sierras. I'm sure they'd serve well as LEO boots.

Might want to put a more cushy insole in them though.

Plenty of aftermarket options to replace the waffle sole insert.

Any joe with a lick of sense buys em.

The waffle sole insert is their only short coming. IMO.
