That's such a relative term. His actions were indicative of a perfect cop as far as his departmental policy, procedure and the law are concerned.

Not so much in reality.

They should have stuffed him in the back seat hauled his dead ass to jail. That's what a "good" cop would have done.

The flopping, foaming, pissing and shidding takes place in the rear of the squad car....henceforth.

Losers hell bent on killing themselves generally succeed and the only ones left in their wake are usually briefly involved in their demise.

Personally, drug addicts don't care enough about themselves and usually care zero about anyone else. If they'd have given him a tap behind the ear and thrown his carcass in a dumpster that would have been sufficient and beyond what someone trying to trying to get a fix and bordering an O.D. deserves.
