Birdwatcher, just saw your question. Not sure about him, but our range and ordnance staff are top notch. Before the big ammo shortage, we were allowed to shoot 50 rounds of their ammo a week. SWAT and Narcotics Tactical can shoot a lot more. Like any big department, you have people that can shoot great, and people who only take their pistol out during quals. CPD transitioned from M&P 40s to M&P 2.0 9mm about a year ago. Most people don’t realize that Columbus is the 14th largest city in the U. S. It has a 2000 member department with a full time SWAT Team, 5 MD 530 helicopters, horses, motorcycles, K9s, and every Detective type you could imagine. The POS Democrat mayor, Andrew Ginther hates the police and does everything he can to ruin this once great department.
