My only ram experience I have is with my dads 2011 2500 with the hemi 5.7. The motor was powerful, but the 545rfe died at something like 35-40k with no towing other than a tiny utility trailer. It also had a CEL for evap leaks that the dealer could never fix. It also rode insanely rough compared to my 3 2500 gm’s, even when loaded heavy. It was enough to convince me to stay away.
