Sheesh!
Just got off the phone with my buddy in GA. His 2018 RAM 2500 transmission just schit the bed with 45k on it.
I had talked to him Monday and told him about my tranny taking a dump. He called me today and called me a dick for jinxing him😂
Just talked to him again. Truck has been sitting at the dealership for over 6 weeks. No eta on parts or when it’ll be ready. He said Fugk it, forget parts and repair, just order me a whole new transmission.
They said there was over 50 transmissions backordered nationally and no telling when it would come in.
Dodge/Ram is only covering a portion of his cost for a rental so he can keep working. He’s gonna be out a decent pile of money by the time it’s done.
Warranty ain’t worth much if you can’t get anything fixed.
