Germany, The answer was the German population was encouraged to "Snitch" on each other, family, friends, fellow workers.
Have we come to that in the United States???
To a large degree, yes. We even have a large contingent of fools on this site that will vote against their self-interest, just because they are told to. They are told who to hate, and they do it dutifully. They will turn on family and friends if CNN asks them to.
