Update on boat. Got the Riptide troller installed and so far liking it a lot. Have a lot to learn with routes, saving routes, and using various options. The Hummingbird Helix 7 seems nice also. We have played with settings a bit on it. For trolling the Cisco Lund base plates have worked great. We mounted Scotty's rod holders on those and they are quite functional. Had an 8 walleye day today doing a little trolling with Bomber 300s.
Its been worth it and so far the boat seems to fit our needs nicely. It loads super easy and has been good trailering. If we land any lunkers, we'll post pics lol.
