I'd love to have a 7x57, and a M70 FW in 7mm08 is what I was leaning towards until I got my Tikka. Last 5 deer I've killed was with 30-30 levergun n iron sights, my favorite way to shoot, but at 62 my eyes are slipping. I needed a scope and the M65 Tikka stepped right out in front of me. I had to have it! I'll be loading me some big flatnose Hawks and Sierra's i already had. I believe at about 2600fps they'll be devastating doe pills! I'm seeing clearly I should've went to the 06 long time ago!
