Our original sin is killing off the.people who lived here first. Making deals with them and forcing them west then not honoring our treaties.
Quite true! It is the Indians who we really screwed over. Killed most of 'em and took their land away from what few were left.
As for these descendants of slaves, they are the luckiest black people in the world. Because their great grandfather was a slave, they got the hell out of the sh**hole of Africa and now live in a good and prosperous country.
As for slavery, an abomination. I am from the South and I can't wrap my mind around the idea that a person could own another person. It is sickening and horrible. But these descendants of African slaves are damn lucky and they need to shut their damn mouth.
