Extra military/police presence is needed because scenes from January 6th did tremendous damage to the United States. One wonders how can someone lead the free world if they can not get their own house together.
Unarmed citizens demanded access to publicly owned property. Went in unarmed and did no real damage? Govt is of, by and for “The People”. We have representatives, not rulers. The Declaration of Independence spells it out very clearly…

Reminds me of an old saying about “an old forgotten wind is once again beginning to blow”
