That can’t be true. One of the cops on here told me they never kick in your door on a welfare check unless they smell a body.
Firefighters routinely force entry for medical calls (and other dumb stuff), they usually have da po-po there for their safety.....another swing and miss......
Been on several hundred if not a thousand welfare checks, never booted a door unless an active disturbance (ie exigent circumstances were observed), or a body was observed (or smelled).
But then again I don't feel like getting in a gunfight over a welfare check ....weird I know.
