The haters already bitch nonstop about virtually everything cops do. Imagine if they issued cops bump keys.. They would get accused of virtually anything and everything around the clock. Every burglary and minor theft that happened would be blamed on the local cop who has a bump key and was on shift the night before. Misplaced your reading glasses, frigging cops stole them..

I understand what you are saying. However if cops had bump keys they would be accused of using them when they were not on calls. There is a very good reason why they do not issue them.


My understading is all lock sets can't be bumped.
