Given the current situation, I would snatch up whatever powders suitable for the 270 I could find.
RL17, H4895/4350/4831, Big Game, Magnum, and some of VV powders are temp stable, too.
I'd agree....it's not hard to get a 270 to shoot well enough to hunt with a number of powders.
