In three different 270s with 130 and 140 grain bullets I've gotten my best accuracy with H4831SC. I used RL 17, IMR 4350, H4350 in all three as well with OK results but not anything like H4831SC. Reloader 26 was great for 150s. 61 grains gave 3000 fps with acceptable accuracy but not stellar accuracy. H4831SC was more accurate than RL26 as well with the 150 partition although velocity was closer to 2800 with what I considered to be a near max load.

IMO H4831SC is hard to beat in the 270 for 130 to 150 grain bullets. I would be curious to try RL23 at some point if this ammo components shortage ever gets sorted out

Good bullets properly placed always work, but not everyone knows what good bullets are, or can reliably place them in the field
