I just recently had cataract surgery. I am now seeing 20 20 for distance. However my near vision and intermediate vision is blurry. I was warned by the eye surgeon ahead of time that this would be the case. I was not a good prospect for multifocal lens implants, so I selected the fixed focus for distance.. My question is how do I shoot some of my rifles that only have iron sights. I was thinking I could use a very low prescription pair of reading glasses that would let me clearly see the front blade while I look through a peep rear sight. I would be interested in anyone's experience that has had this surgery. I hate to give up on shooting some of my Savage 99's that only have iron sights. My scoped rifles are not a problem, the image is bright and clear.
