My Mrs. has had both eyes done in the last 2 years and its the same for her. She buys inexpensive glasses at Walmart/Target type stores for reading. When she does shoot any of my long guns or handguns, she doesn't use them, gets along ok. I'd say though every one's need and case is probably different, ya just have to see what works best for ya. A good shooter friend of mine had the surgery to both eyes done 3-4 years ago. Wore thick lenses, now all he needs for are reading. Says his eyes for distance and shooting are as when he was in his twenties and he's 75.
