Everyone who has cataract surgery has a small residual prescription. My suggestion is to get a good eye exam to correct any remaining prescription and then add +0.25 to the prescription to give a clear front sight while only causing about a 2% blur to the distance. I have done this with many patients and have quite a few competitive shooters who see me. Picky group but they are smart and fun to work with.
