My son and I were in Bozeman Saturday checking into a hotel.
A lady asked where we were from and then she shared she was from outside Houston. They had just decided to come to Montana to spend 5 days piddling around. She admitted she had never felt anything like the cold temps that day. I had to burst her bubble that it actually felt pretty good outside right then. It had warmed up and was in the low to mid teens. At home we had seen -20 a day or 2 before.
My boy was asking what possessed these people to fly in to Bozeman to just spend 5 days traveling around. I guessed it was the Yellowstone tv show. My son then asked how they film that show in the temps we had been having. And then he realized they never show any winter scenes in the show.
