It sometimes seems like the chest beaters and teeth gnashers think this country would have gone unexplored, unsettled, and undeveloped had the white man not set foot on this land. Perhaps they would have gotten a better deal with the Chinese or Japanese. Maybe the Russians would have treated them better. This country would have been settled by someone.
Ask the Aleuts here in Alaska about Russian settlement- or the Chukchis, etc. over in Siberia
