The Bills had a chance to stop the Chiefs but the defense didn't get it done.
The same thing could have been of the Chiefs if they had lost the toss.
It just puts pressure on the defense of any team,make or break time.
Remember that Defense wins championships...

The rules have shifted to favor the offense, re: PI.
That's why QBs are the holy grail, and RBs disposable.
Every defense penalty, except offsides, gives the opp offense a first down.
Offense gets a penalty, they just lose yards and try again.
